Using the right tools and equipment when working on cars makes the job easier, safer, and more enjoyable. An ASE certified technician typically has hundreds of common and specialty tools to work on a variety of vehicles. However, every auto owner should have some basic tools to perform periodic maintenance and minor repairs. This course will help you recognize basic tools and equipment, identify the correct tool for the job, use tools properly, identify types of service manuals, and navigate online service manuals.
